Electromagnetic Effects and RF Design Systems Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electromagnetic Effects and RF Design Systems Engineer to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting electromagnetic effects testing at our Boeing Test Facility in Wacol and participating in RF Design and Systems Engineering work.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with knowledge of product life cycle, test, and verification to excel. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct test and verification of EMI/EMC customer requirements across multiple defence programs and commercial customers
- Develop Test Procedures and Test Reports
- Advise customers on EMI/EMC analysis and mitigation mechanisms to assure compatibility and safety of new and existing systems and interfaces
- Conduct EMI/EMC testing of hardware and software systems in both lab and in field environments to verify adherence to MIL-STD-461/464
- Perform HIRF/Lightning, RF COSITE, Antenna Coupling & RADHAZ analysis and test
- Contribute to the open, inclusive, and innovative team culture
- Domestic travel may be required
Requirements
- Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline
- 2+ years experience in applying relevant engineering practices, standards, and regulations
- Desirable previous experience with MIL-STD-461/464
- Previous EMI/EMC test experience in a lab environment
