At the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, we are seeking an experienced Banking Specialist to join our team in Yass. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and making a real difference in people's lives.

About the Role

In this role, you will work collaboratively with your Branch Manager and colleagues to deliver outstanding outcomes for every customer you deal with. Your understanding of customers' needs and the Bank's offerings means you always know the right specialist to refer customers to for their more complex requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Have in-depth conversations with customers to understand their overall banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking & Financial Advice.
  • Support customers with enquiries, maintenance on accounts, and process applications for credit products.
  • Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs and identify any changes.
  • Provide options for customers through education & demonstration of our in-branch technology and digital banking options.
  • Problem solve & provide effective solutions whilst championing our processes, procedures & drive our risk-adverse culture.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has the ability to ask the right questions and find the right solutions, to act with integrity and place the customer at the centre of everything they do.
  • Can bring their passion for service excellence and, whilst being comfortable working independently, will also be able to refer customers to other specialist team members in order to better serve their needs.
  • Can demonstrate an ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment whilst seeing the big picture for customers and providing them with holistic solutions.
  • Most importantly, they'll need to have a genuine passion for the customer and for doing the right thing to ensure we're putting our customer's needs first.
