About the Role

Hastings Deering is seeking a skilled HRIS Systems Officer to join our team in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing Workday support and guidance, developing strong partnerships with the People Function, and driving system optimisation to meet workforce requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Workday support and guidance to employees, including training and development
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the People Function to deliver valuable, effective, and timely support to the business
  • Perform business process reviews, make recommendations on business process improvements, and ensure shared information portal is maintained and up-to-date
  • Create and/or review manuals, procedures, and related user documentation to ensure documentation is targeted to the appropriate audience
  • Support the People Function in driving system optimisation to meet workforce requirements
  • Work closely with stakeholders to improve general system knowledge and liaise with Workday core team in Malaysia
  • Conduct data integrity checks on an as-needs basis and assist regular audits on comparative systems

About You

We're looking for a skilled and experienced HRIS Systems Officer who has a passion for building a systems-related career and has relevant experience in Human Resources or a related field. You'll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with HRIS systems and data management.

You'll also need to have a proven ability to organise, plan, and prioritise workloads, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
