About the Role

Hastings Deering is seeking a skilled HRIS Systems Officer to join our team in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday role that offers a range of opportunities for career growth and development.

In this position, you will provide Workday support and guidance, develop an understanding of the business, and build strong partnerships with the People Function to deliver valuable, effective, and timely support to the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing Workday support and guidance to employees
  • Developing an understanding of the business and its linkages with Sime Darby
  • Building strong partnerships with the People Function to deliver support to the business
  • Performing business process reviews and making recommendations for improvement
  • Maintaining the shared information portal and ensuring it is up to date
  • Creating and reviewing manuals, procedures, and user documentation
  • System testing and providing feedback
  • Supporting the People Function in driving system optimisation to meet workforce requirements
  • Working closely with stakeholders to improve general system knowledge
  • Liaising with the Workday core team in Malaysia
  • Conducting data integrity checks and assisting with regular audits

About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HRIS Systems Officer who has:

  • Interest in building a systems-related career
  • Relevant level of experience in Human Resources or understanding of requirements in this space
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and data management
  • Proven ability to organise, plan, and prioritise workloads
