About the Role

This is a newly created position as the HRIS Systems Specialist, reporting to the Manager Reward, Global Mobility and HRIS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the HR systems, data governance, and associated reporting throughout Airbus Australia Pacific (AAP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and upkeep of various HRIS systems, including Workday, Chris21, and other associated platforms.
  • Ensure HRIS systems are configured to ensure compliance with legislation and Airbus policy and processes.
  • Test and implement system upgrades.
  • Work with leaders across AAP to manage and support all HRIS matters.
  • Regular reporting, including development and optimized use of HR reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau) and management of reporting dashboards (e.g., KPIs, monthly reporting, and annual reporting).
  • Review and monitoring of data within the HR systems to ensure compliance and high data integrity.
  • Reporting to external bodies, including but not limited to Mercer, WTW, WGEA, ADMS, QLD Licensing, etc.
  • Analytical support Airbus Group HR (as required).
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to update and/or undertake data cleansing of HR master data as required.
  • Assist with management of the remuneration structure and salary reviews.
  • Ensure compliance to Aus & NZ data privacy regulations and GDPR (Euro data governance).
  • Act as the key escalation contact for investigation and resolution of HR system queries and issues.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to live the Airbus Values, work with passion and determination, and be able to work to tight deadlines in an environment of continuous improvement.

The position holder will require a strong understanding of HRIS Systems, data management, and analytical skills to support data-driven decision making and supporting the Human Resources function.

The skills and experience suited to this role include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an HRIS or HR Systems role or similar.
  • Advanced level of technical reporting skills and data manipulation.
  • Experience in coaching employees and leaders in system usage to maximize system potential in order to achieve measurable results and strategic goals, and through complex processes and systems.
  • Experience in working in a broader HR team to identify and deliver on process improvements by providing the relevant tools to support the business.
  • Experience in implementing systems framework at an operational level.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable HR and Security legislation, standards, and internal best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes and data management principles.

Qualifications that would be desirable for this role would include:

  • Degree in Business, Human Resources, IT, or similar.
  • Post Graduate Qualification in business-related or HR discipline.
  • Experience in or prior exposure to Workday and Chris21.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
