Job Description

Commercial Finance Professional

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to provide financial expertise to our Editorial business.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills and experience to support the creation of high-quality journalism.

You will work closely with editorial leaders to provide clear, actionable financial insights and manage the entire Editorial cost base.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to editorial leaders, providing strategic financial guidance to drive business growth.
  • Cost Management: Develop and implement effective cost management strategies to optimize Editorial expenses.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and projections.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide insightful analysis on financial performance to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Finance Expertise: Previous experience in finance or commercial accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Business Partnering Skills: Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including editorial leaders and other business partners.
  • Communication and Influencing Skills: Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Financial Processes: Expertise in core financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
