Job Title: Meat Department Supervisor

About the Role:

The Meat Department Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the meat department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and enforcing quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of meat department employees to achieve high productivity levels and promote excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee performance, provide regular feedback, and develop strategies to improve overall performance.
  • Participate in the hiring process, making recommendations for new recruits and promotions within the meat department.
  • Approve timecards and other reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory position, preferably in the food retail industry.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • A deep understanding of quality control principles and standards, with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
