Meat Department Supervisor Role

We are seeking an accomplished professional to fill the position of Meat Department Supervisor. This role offers a unique opportunity for career growth and development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and contribute to the daily operations of the Meat Department, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the management team to foster a culture of high productivity and efficiency.
  • Promote and uphold stringent safety protocols within the Meat Department and the organization as a whole.
  • Maintain exceptional member service standards at all times.
  • Develop, coach, counsel, and direct personnel within the Meat Department to optimize performance.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback to promote teamwork and accountability.
  • Contribute to the employment process by offering recommendations for hiring, promotion, and termination.

Skill Requirements:

  • Trade Certification (Butcher).
  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Expertise in butchery, meat cutting, or comparable fields.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets), AS400, and basic mathematical concepts.
