We are seeking a Meat Department Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the meat department, including creating rosters, generating orders, and conducting stock takes.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of butchery practices, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the meat department
- Create and implement effective merchandising strategies
- Monitor and control costs
- Ensure high levels of customer service
- Contribute to the development and implementation of store initiatives
Requirements:
- Australian trade qualification in Butchery
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Commitment to customer service and work health and safety standards
