Electrical Specialist for Mining Equipment Assembly

The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team in a permanent full-time position. This role will provide the successful candidate with opportunities to work on new machine builds, meeting tight deadlines in a safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all new machine assembly is completed as scheduled, maintaining high-quality standards across all machines assembled.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, contributing to a clean and organized workspace.
- Liaise closely with the mining assembly supervisor and leading hand to guarantee customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
- Assist the mining assembly leading hand with related duties, ensuring seamless workflow.
- Evaluate and document relevant assembly and as-build information, supporting the capture of data for local option portfolios.
- Liaise with the mining assembly coordinator to standardize local options installed on EX and EH mining equipment.
- Diagnose and evaluate electrical systems on mining machinery, performing new installations with precision.
- Embody the HCA Safety Culture, prioritizing safety above all else.
- Possess relevant Australian (or Australian recognized) electrical trade qualifications.
- Hold prior experience with electrical systems on mining equipment, assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, capable of building lasting relationships.
- Excel in providing quality work, adhering to OEM standards.
- Enjoy a rewarding pay rate of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus potential overtime and company bonuses.
