The Opportunity
Our Mining Assembly division has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our team. In this role, your key focus will be to work in a team of mining assembly employees on the new machine builds, meeting tight deadlines in a safe manner. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while building a long-term career in a global company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all new machine assembly is completed as scheduled, maintaining quality and adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Liaise closely with mining assembly supervisor and leading hand to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Assist the mining assembly leading hand with other related duties.
- Ensure accurate completion of assembly and as-build documentation.
- Liaise with mining assembly coordinator to standardize local options installed on EX and EH mining equipment.
To Succeed in this Role:
- You must prioritize HCA Safety Culture, ensuring it's embodied throughout the organization.
- Hold relevant Australian electrical trade qualifications.
- Have previous experience working with electrical systems on mining equipment, including assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive, long-term relationships.
- Good communication skills and dedication to providing quality work for an OEM.
