The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our team in the Mining Assembly division. In this role, you will work in a team to assemble new machines, meeting tight deadlines in a safe manner. This permanent position offers access to OEM training and the opportunity to build a long-term career in a global company.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all new machine assembly is completed as scheduled, maintaining the quality of all machines assembled.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Liaise closely with the mining assembly supervisor and leading hand to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery targets are achieved.
- Assist the mining assembly leading hand with other related duties.
- Ensure all relevant assembly and as-build documentation is completed, assisting in capturing information for local option portfolio.
- Liaise closely with the mining assembly coordinator to standardize local options installed to EX and EH mining equipment.
- Perform new installations, diagnostic evaluations on mining machinery.
Requirements:
- Embody the HCA Safety Culture.
- Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognized) electrical trade qualifications.
- Have previous experience with electrical systems on mining equipment, assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of electrical systems, mechanical, and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment.
- Have a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills to build positive, long-term relationships.
- Good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work for an OEM.
