Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for driving best-practice procurement strategies for high-value and high-risk categories.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services aligned with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Develop robust RFX documentation and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with our procurement governance framework and act as Probity Officer.
  • Liaise with legal services for procurement matters.
  • Provide expert advice on sourcing and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver procurement initiatives within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure all purchases meet policy, cost, safety, and legislative standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and strategic transformation of our procurement function.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Extensive procurement experience in complex organisations.
  • Expertise in high-risk, high-value tenders and contract management.
  • Strong supplier engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
