Procurement Strategy Expert

We are a global management consultancy specialising in operations strategy and transformation. Our expertise spans the supply chain, finance and shared services, working together with clients to transform their businesses and generate real change.

About the Role

We're expanding our Procurement service line with new opportunities in the Health and Heavy Industries sectors. These roles are part of a collaborative consulting team focused on delivering procurement strategies and efficiency-focused initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to travel interstate and internationally, contributing to impactful transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop end-to-end procurement strategies
  • Assess cost-reduction opportunities using client spend data and contracts
  • Deliver cost-reduction projects including strategic sourcing, direct negotiations, and process improvements
  • Collaborate in project delivery teams to optimise and upskill client procurement functions
  • Lead project teams, depending on experience and skill level
  • Help shape the strategic direction of our practice
  • Build business cases for procurement transformation initiatives
  • Support the development of our digital procurement capabilities
  • Foster a high-performing, flexible, and inclusive team culture
About You

We're looking for someone who brings thoughtful analysis, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine interest in making a difference.

  • Degree qualified in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of consulting experience (procurement preferred but not essential)
  • Understanding of procurement processes and systems
  • Experience leading teams in complex projects, or the ability to demonstrate leadership potential
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Ability to interpret data and uncover opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team-oriented mindset and a desire to contribute meaningfully
  • Interest in building a career in procurement consulting
