Job Title: Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Catering Assistant at our centre in Bathurst. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining service to our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess a heart and passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.

  • Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining service.
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit.
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable but not essential.

You will also have good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, and experience interacting with a wide range of people.
