Clinical Cardiac Specialist

About the Role:
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of cardiac technology and its implications.
- Work independently to deliver high-quality results.
- Obtain relevant patient information and communicate effectively with patients.
- Maintain and perform regular equipment checks, as well as associated logbooks and databases, and generate reports as required.
- Collaborate across the Cardiology department and with other medical staff.
- Participate in on-call rosters as needed.
- Promote a safe working environment at all times when working with patients and colleagues.
About the Department:
The Cardiology department is located at Austin Hospital (Heidelberg) and provides 24-hour echocardiography and cardiac catheterisation laboratory services for acute myocardial infarction. In-patients are managed predominantly in the Cardiac and Thoracic Unit on Ward 5 East.
