Overview

Clinical Specialist – Cardiac Rhythm Management at Medtronic in Melbourne. An experienced Clinical Specialist to be an integral member of our Cardiac Rhythm Management team. Strong clinical experience in cardiac pacing devices will help drive business growth and deliver the best possible outcomes to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with sales colleagues to develop and execute account sales strategies for the business unit.
  • Provide the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers by supporting field teams with technical in-services and presentations.
  • Conduct on-site education and/or consulting.
  • Assist Territory Managers in providing after-hours on-call support.
  • Support sales and marketing programs with activities provided by the Marketing team.
  • Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
  • Work closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support.
  • Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Territory Managers and Divisional Staff.
  • Identify and facilitate execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.
  • Monitor field inventory effectively and ensure appropriate levels relative to demand across locations.
  • Support clinical study activities in conjunction with Territory Manager and the Clinical Research team.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • High School Diploma with minimum 6 years relevant experience OR Associate Diploma with minimum 4 years relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the function and purpose of pacing products.
  • Experience as a technical support expert with pacing, clinical or medical device industry setting.
  • Travel up to 25%; valid driver's license required.
