About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting echocardiography procedures, including transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine stress, and transoesophageal studies.

You'll work closely with Lead Specialist Cardiac Physiologist and Clinical Services Manager to ensure effective operations and provide exceptional patient care.

As a mentor, you'll also play a key role in training junior echocardiographers in their development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct echocardiography procedures including transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine stress, and transoesophageal studies
  • Support basic electrophysiology services like ECG and Holter monitor attachment
  • Collaborate with Lead Specialist Cardiac Physiologist and Clinical Services Manager for effective operations
  • Mentor junior echocardiographers in their training and development
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) registration
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail in echocardiography
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
  • Australian driver's licence and flexibility to work across Melbourne's east/south-east locations
