The Role
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to fill the position at our Darwin Branch, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service orientation, a willingness to learn, and a focus on career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address customer inquiries both in-person and via phone
• Engage in counter sales and foster customer relationships
• Monitor and communicate the status of outstanding orders
• Ensure a professional presentation of the store
• Manage stock levels effectively
• Prepare and follow up on quotations
• Utilize design expertise to craft unique lighting solutions for clients
• Stay informed about the latest technologies and design trends
• Interpret architectural and electrical plans to develop inspiring lighting designs and conduct energy audits
• Proactively seek project opportunities within retail and trade sectors
• Recommend products and placement strategies to enhance client environments
• Adhere to company and customer quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
• Contribute to ongoing improvements within the branch
Desired Skills and Attributes:
• Experience in lighting design or a related field
• Proven track record in business development and lead generation
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with customers

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

We value a willingness to learn, confidence, and a desire to enhance your skills and knowledge. Candidates should be capable of performing manual handling tasks and may be required to work overtime. A forklift license is preferred but not mandatory.
