Liability Claims Specialist

About Gallagher Bassett
Gallagher Bassett is a leading provider of claims management services, and we're seeking a highly skilled Liability Claims Consultant to join our team. As a Liability Claims Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing complex General Liability claims for key customers within our Comcover Claims Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a broad portfolio of complex liability claims end to end, including General Liability and Employment Practices Liability
- Interpret policy wording and apply accurately to ensure fair and timely claims resolution
- Provide recommendations on indemnity, liability, quantum, reserving, and settlement to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients
- Liaise with various third-party providers, including Solicitors, Loss Adjusters, Comcover Members, and Barristers, to ensure seamless claims handling
- Settle claims within client service instructions, company guidelines, and delegated authority, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Attend mediations where applicable, and travel as required to ensure effective claims resolution
- Comply with relevant policy requirements and resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
About You
We're looking for an experienced Liability Claims Consultant or Claims Specialist who is passionate about delivering exceptional claims outcomes. You will have a strong understanding of liability claims management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
