**Job Title:** Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician

">About the Role:
Our organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician to join our busy service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs, services, and inspections on a wide range of trucks, buses, and trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair, service, and inspect engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffs, etc. on a variety of vehicles
• Conduct diagnostic analysis using advanced software and computer equipment
• Produce clear and concise reports detailing all work carried out, including supplies used and recommendations in priority order
• Provide guidance and support to junior technicians
• Conduct VicRoads roadworthy inspections
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, auto electrical, and fabrication work
Requirements:
• Minimum Certificate III mechanical trade qualification
• Experience in the heavy vehicle industry
• Familiarity with American, European, or Japanese drivelines highly regarded
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a customer-focused team
• Current HC/HR driver's licence an advantage but not essential

• High levels of motivation, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Effective communication skills with a strong focus on workplace safety
• Own tools
