Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Specialist to join our team in Warrnambool.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing repairs, services, and inspections on a wide range of trucks, buses, and trailers.

  • Diagnostic analysis using advanced software and equipment
  • Generate detailed reports documenting work completed, including supplies used and recommendations
  • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians
  • Conduct VicRoads roadworthy inspections
  • Carry out mechanical, hydraulic, and auto-electrical works, as well as fabrication tasks

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum Certificate 3 mechanical trade qualification
  • Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry
  • Knowledge of American, European, or Japanese drivelines highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a customer-focused team
  • Current HC/HR driver's license an advantage but not essential
  • Pride in your work, with a commitment to high standards
  • High levels of motivation, reliability, and a positive attitude
  • Effective communication skills, with a focus on workplace safety
