Our team is passionate about providing top-notch services to our customers, and we're looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician to join our crew.

This role will suit a dedicated individual who is keen on expanding their skill set and working in a fast-paced environment.

You will be based at our facility, which has undergone significant upgrades to meet the demands of our growing business.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs, servicing, and inspections on engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffs, and other components on a wide range of trucks, buses, and trailers.
  • Conduct diagnostic analysis using advanced software and computer equipment.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining all work performed on repair orders, including supplies used and recommendations in prioritized order.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians.
  • Conduct VicRoads roadworthy inspections.
  • Perform mechanical and hydraulic work, as well as auto electrical and fabrication tasks.
Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum Certificate III mechanical trade qualification.
  • Have experience in the heavy vehicle industry.
  • Experience with American, European, or Japanese drivelines will be highly valued.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a customer-focused team.
  • Hold a current HC/HR drivers license (an advantage but not essential).
  • Take pride in your work, with an ability to meet targets and maintain high standards.
  • Demonstrate high levels of motivation, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Exhibit effective communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Bring your own tools.
