Heavy Diesel Mechanic Role

We're seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy vehicles.

  • Maintain and repair a fleet of heavy and multi-vehicle combination milk tanker trucks.
  • Collaborate with tanker drivers and fleet coordinators.
  • Assist with vehicle breakdowns, diagnose and repair issues, and manage milk flow meters.
  • Ensure the safe transfer of milk back to the depot.
About This Opportunity
  • A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Trade is required.
  • Experience in a similar role within the transport industry, particularly with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, is highly regarded.
  • A current HC/MC driver's license (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience with both automatic and manual trucks, especially Volvos, is highly valued.
