The Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will support business partners by preparing, analyzing, and reporting on financial performance.

You will provide targeted strategic insights for key operational lines of business, drawing on analysis of business and operational performance, industry dynamics, macro-economic trends, and competitor landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and report on budgeting, forecasting, and financial business reviews, focusing on profitability drivers.
  • Assist in providing financial support for commercial agreements, business case development, and decision support for operational lines of business.
  • Support business partners in translating business matters and decisions into financial impacts and metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with operational business lines and key stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with the finance team to ensure alignment of reporting and financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial control, policies, technical accounting, tax, and treasury requirements.
  • Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to support business objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and analysis.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate Degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Economics, Accounting).
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards.
  • Up to 3 years' experience in a similar finance role delivering reporting, analysis, insights, and financial support across diverse environments and teams.
  • Deep knowledge of payments technology, IT systems, and the financial industry.
  • Basic understanding of risk management frameworks as they relate to finance matters.
