AOD Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate AOD Support Specialist to provide essential services for individuals experiencing alcohol and other drug related harms in the Northwest, and Inner North Melbourne region.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide bridging support and interventions to clients awaiting assessment and treatment commencement.
- Liaise with clients, family members, and significant others to improve their health and wellbeing through case management and various interventions.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals based in Sunshine to deliver high-quality services for people seeking AOD support.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related field.
- Minimum qualification of Diploma Community Services.
- Experience working in social services environments.
- AOD Skillset required within 12 months of commencing employment.
- Forensic Fundamentals certification within 6 months of employment.
- Family Violence foundational training and information sharing scheme within 12 months.
- Current VIC Driver's License.
- Valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check.
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia.
