At our AOD Rehabilitation Facility, we are seeking an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our multidisciplinary team.

The role of AOD Support Worker is a key position in our Therapeutic Community, providing a safe and supportive environment for residents to participate in AOD rehabilitation treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior team members to initiate effective treatment and intervention planning
  • Providing practical and emotional support to residents during admissions and discharges
  • Facilitating group interventions focused on various treatment modalities and other therapeutic interventions
  • Maintaining accurate and timely client documentation and case notes

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working within the AOD or mental health sector, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. As an AOD Support Worker, you will be part of a 24-hour roster, including day, evening, weekend, sleepover, and overnight shifts.

Requirements:

We require experience in the AOD sector, case management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. A Certificate IV in AOD or AOD Skill Set is preferred, but not essential.
