Job Overview

The K-12 Sport Coordinator is a non-teaching role responsible for leading and developing sports across the whole college and secondary campus programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and leadership of the college's vision for sports, secondary campus programs, and extracurricular physical activity participation levels.
  • Prepare sports and secondary campus program dates for the college calendar.
  • Develop partnerships with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive sporting environment.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety and child protection requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain a development plan for K-12 sports.
  • Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure facilities are ready for sporting activities.
  • Attend sports meetings and professional development programs as required.
  • Assist with the promotion of sports and secondary campus programs through various communication platforms.
Specific Duties:
  • Coordinate annual college carnivals that engage students and contribute to a positive culture.
  • Organize and transport all equipment for carnivals.
  • Maintain knowledge of trial dates and communicate with students and parents.
  • Promote team sport participation and coordinate staff involvement.
  • Organize trials for team selection and support coaches.
  • Respond to parent requests and organize transport.
  • Plan and administer the camp program, including risk assessments and logistics.
