Mergers and Exemptions Law Specialist – Mid-Senior Level.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice on complex issues relating to mergers and exemptions law, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
- Conduct research into matters relevant to our responsibilities under relevant legislation, informing effective decision-making.
- Assist with investigations and court proceedings, working closely with external lawyers to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Draft and settle complex legal documents in support of investigations and litigation.
- Admission as a practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
- Experience in advising line areas effectively under tight timeframes.
- Advantageous experience in advising on Part IV of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, particularly in merger clearances and competition exemptions.
You will be asked to submit your resume with key outcomes from each role you have held.
