Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimise a network of multiple branches nationally for a leading industrial distribution business.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch leaders to build high-performing, engaged teams.
  • Drive performance and cultural transformation, embedding accountability and operational discipline.
  • Collaborate across a matrix organisation with sales, operations, IT, and People & Culture teams.
  • Implement technology and AI solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:

Proven General Manager with prior experience leading multi-branch or multi-site operations, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, or trades sectors.

Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L and budget management and a track record of driving operational excellence, network optimisation, and performance improvements at scale.

Experienced in leading high-performing teams and embedding a performance-focused, collaborative, and inclusive culture.

Strategic and innovative, able to analyse branch footprints and customer needs, implement process improvements.
