About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Payroll Specialist to join our team at Pronto Software in Edinburgh, Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in payroll processing and utilize their skills with Pronto software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and fortnightly payroll using Pronto software
- Calculate wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records
- Prepare and process termination calculations as required
- Maintain payroll processing system and records
- Answer all staff queries on wages, deductions, attendance, and time records as required
- Assist in maintaining confidential employee records while keeping internal records up-to-date
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
- Update/maintain internal databases as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in Payroll Processing
- Competency with spreadsheets, accounting, bookkeeping, and tax procedures
- Ability to prioritize important projects and work with minimal supervision
- Previous experience with Pronto Software will be highly regarded
