About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Payroll Specialist to join our team at Pronto Software in Edinburgh, Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in payroll processing and utilize their skills with Pronto software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and fortnightly payroll using Pronto software
  • Calculate wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records
  • Prepare and process termination calculations as required
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records
  • Answer all staff queries on wages, deductions, attendance, and time records as required
  • Assist in maintaining confidential employee records while keeping internal records up-to-date
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Update/maintain internal databases as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in Payroll Processing
  • Competency with spreadsheets, accounting, bookkeeping, and tax procedures
  • Ability to prioritize important projects and work with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience with Pronto Software will be highly regarded
