Workforce Development Role

About the Position:

The Workforce Management and Development team plays a vital role in enhancing the capability and performance of the Community Services Directorate. The team is responsible for strategic human resource policies, programs, and training that drive excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams providing technical and strategic advice on workforce matters.
  • Develop briefing materials, correspondence, and documentation on relevant workforce requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior directors to lead the strategic direction of the Workforce Management and Development teams.
  • Foster relationships with senior executive staff, managers, and partners.

Essential Requirements:

  • Analyse workforce data and develop reports and analysis.
  • Deliver contemporary, evidence-based workforce results within set timeframes.
  • Utilise strong interpersonal and communication skills, including stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead and inspire teams, delivering solutions-focused human resources management practice.
