Position Summary

As an Implementation Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing success of ECI Software's Manufacturing Division – Customer Success Team. You will leverage your ERP application expertise and interpersonal skills to empower our clients, helping them gain the knowledge and confidence needed to utilize our products effectively in their daily operations. Your contributions will directly influence the Return on Investment (ROI) that clients achieve from their ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing business processes and align them with industry best practices to facilitate a smooth ERP implementation.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their financial objectives and challenges.
  • Possess a diverse understanding of business processes, including finance, manufacturing supply chain, inventory management, and sales.
  • Assist in the creation and documentation of best practice recommendations for ERP business processes across various manufacturing environments.
  • Effectively communicate and build consensus with clients.
  • Train client implementation teams on core concepts and the operation of our ERP applications.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure a seamless transition to the new system.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the implementation operates smoothly, addressing any concerns that arise.
  • Travel to client locations to deliver consulting services as required.
  • Stay updated on new product offerings and functionalities as software updates are released.
  • Monitor and report on implementation status, maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Work independently with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Be accessible and available to multiple clients.
  • Achieve individual billable utilization targets.
  • Identify and manage potential issues and escalations in coordination with the Team Lead or Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of ERP products; prior ERP experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with common industry practices in manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a support or implementation role.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to users with varying levels of technical expertise, both in person and via telephone.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, tailored to effectively convey information to all levels of client roles.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Consulting experience is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Finance and Accounting principles.
  • Excellent client interaction skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
