Claims Strategy Manager Role

We are seeking an accomplished Claims Strategy Manager to drive the future of our insurance operations, delivering customer-focused claims solutions while shaping our broader insurance strategy.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement strategic direction and continuous improvement initiatives across insurance operations.
  • Lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a customer-centric culture.
  • Drive best practice claims handling with a focus on improved outcomes and reduced duration.
  • Partner with industry peers to strengthen insurance capability and reputation as a thought leader.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and embed strong risk management practices.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to deliver aligned, customer-first solutions.

About You:

  • 5+ years' leadership experience in Life Insurance operations within large, complex organisations with a strong background in claims and/or underwriting.
  • Proven ability to lead change, manage ambiguity, and deliver transformation.
  • Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proven customer focus and a strategic mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to quality, risk management, and customer-centric outcomes.
