Insurance Expert

The role of an Insurance Expert involves guiding individuals through the complexities of insurance with empathy and expertise. As an Insurance Expert, you will oversee and process various types of cases and payments, including Total Permanent Disability (TPD), Income Protection (IP) insurance claims, Death (D), and Terminal Illness (TI) claims, as well as Family Law claims and early release payments for financial hardship or compassionate grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process various types of cases and payments
  • Provide exceptional service to beneficiaries and claimants by addressing their inquiries and supporting them throughout the process
  • Oversee the entire process of Death Claims
  • Review and challenge insurer decisions, including declined claims
  • Prepare trustee recommendations for approval

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a Superannuation or Life claims assessment environment
  • Expertise in Claims Staking
  • Demonstrated ability to review and challenge insurer decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
