We are seeking an experienced Insurance Product Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of life insurance solutions in superannuation by driving strategies that safeguard members' financial well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of death, total and permanent disability (TPD), and income protection claims processes, as well as experience in developing and delivering compelling product propositions. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with empathy at the core.

This is a key opportunity for someone who can combine technical expertise with a member-first mindset. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop insurance products that meet the evolving needs of our members. Your input will shape the design, delivery, and optimization of these products, ensuring they align with our organization's mission to deliver life-changing solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in claims management (life insurance, superannuation, or financial services).
  • Strong knowledge of RG146 certification and relevant degrees in Finance, Commerce, or similar fields.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with service providers, negotiate high-quality outcomes, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
