The Project Support Officer role is key to delivering impactful projects. Key responsibilities include managing project activities, supporting decisions with clear documentation, and engaging stakeholders effectively.
This position plays a vital part in a fast-paced environment, particularly when addressing matters affecting Aboriginal peoples and communities.
As a Project Support Officer, you will have the opportunity to support senior leaders across the sector through projects aimed at:
- Building cultural capability and enabling Aboriginal outcomes sector-wide.
- Enabling our people to engage with Aboriginal communities through place-based cultural immersion.
- Equipping Directors with knowledge, leadership skills, and practical tools to drive Aboriginal outcomes and meaningful change within their portfolios.
You will work closely with stakeholders, coordinate consultations, and facilitate collaboration to support policy development and legislative objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Project Management: Deliver project support services, including maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and coordinating resources to ensure successful outcomes within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Evaluate and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance clarity, efficiency, and alignment with statutory requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with stakeholders, coordinate consultations, and facilitate collaboration to support policy development and legislative objectives.
- Knowledge of Planning Systems: Experience in planning and environmental legislation and processes are desired but not essential.
