Job Title

Project Officer - A Key Role in Delivering Projects

This role is crucial to delivering projects on time, within set parameters and to a high standard. The Project Officer will play a key part in managing multiple workstreams, prioritizing tasks and ensuring all deliverables are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science (or similar) and minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant field;
  • Ability to manage projects, prioritize multiple workstreams and deliver projects on time and to a high standard;
  • Experience in managing external contractors and their deliverables;
  • Experienced communicator comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate risks and develop alternate options;
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a changing environment;
  • Awareness of relevant legislation and regulations;
  • Ensure environmental approval pathways are followed in accordance with legislation, management systems and delegations;
  • Support the heritage team as required and based on your interests and experience.
