Job Overview

The Commercial Analyst role is a critical position in supporting the strategic growth and commercial success of our global online sports betting business operating in key markets. This position requires a commercially-minded individual with a strong interest in the gaming and entertainment industry, analytical skills, curiosity about market dynamics, and the ability to collate a broad range of industry data and information into actionable insights.

This role will directly support commercial negotiations, licensing efforts, regulatory submissions, and commercial decision-making by delivering robust market research, customer analysis, industry benchmarking, and growth forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive research on betting markets, consumer behaviour, and industry activity across key markets and expansion targets
  • Develop models and frameworks to analyse market trends and project revenue growth opportunities
  • Support new product development and market entry initiatives through feasibility studies and market-fit analysis
  • Review and summarise industry publications, key bulletins, analyst reports and economic data relevant to sports betting, daily fantasy sports and iGaming
  • Assist in compiling evidence and research for licence applications and regulatory submissions
  • Provide analytical support to the broader commercial team, including performance dashboards, KPI tracking and ROI analyses
  • Assist in review and negotiation of key commercial contracts, including reviewing supplier performance, contract renewals, service levels and costs analysis
  • Contribute to scenario planning, business casing, and go-to-market strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, law, data analytics, finance and accounting or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex data into short commercial insights
  • Strong research and data collating capabilities with demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with the online sports betting or gaming industries and their commercial frameworks
  • Proficiency in data storage and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight, Excel, PowerPoint)
