Business Intelligence Analyst

Our client in Darwin is looking to engage a Business Intelligence Analyst for an initial period of twelve (12) months, with an option to extend for a further six (6) months.
The analyst will support the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, universes, and data sources, and will also provide application server administration within their Business Intelligence (BI) environment.
Key Duties:
- Collaborate with the Data Warehouse/BI Manager to design and maintain Business Intelligence products according to organisational needs.
- Develop and update both operational and strategic reports and dashboards.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand and analyse reporting and analytics requirements.
- Work closely with data improvement teams to support ongoing enhancements.
- Handle administrative tasks to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of BI systems.
- Assist and coordinate with third-party service providers to implement system patches, upgrades, and bug fixes, following established change management protocols.
Essential Skills
- Strong business analysis skills, with effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience developing reports and universes using SAP BI 4.3
- Proficient in creating dashboards with Tableau (version
- Skilled at identifying, analysing, presenting, and reconciling information from multiple systems
- Excellent knowledge of administering SAP BI 4.3 and Tableau application servers, including managing security groups and promoting objects across environments
- Able to clearly and accurately document report and dashboard requirements
- Capable of producing detailed work instructions for application server maintenance tasks
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results within specified timeframes
- Demonstrated effectiveness working independently as well as part of a team
