Our client, a leading utility service provider, is seeking a skilled ICT Business Intelligence Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing decision-making processes through expert data analysis and reporting.
As an ICT Business Intelligence Analyst, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, develop insightful reports, and implement data solutions that support business objectives.
The analysts will support the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, universes, and data sources, and will also provide application server administration within the Business Intelligence (BI) environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential public services by turning complex data into clear, actionable insights, helping to sustain reliable power and water supply.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Data Warehouse/BI Manager to develop and maintain BI products that meet business needs;
- Developing and maintaining operational and strategic reports and dashboards;
- Engaging with key business owners to identify and analyse reporting and dashboard requirements;
- Working closely with data improvement teams across PWC;
- Performing system administration tasks to ensure BI applications operate efficiently and reliably; and
- Assisting and liaising with third-party service providers to ensure system patches, upgrades, and bug fixes are successfully implemented in accordance with PWC's change management processes
The Business Intelligence Analysts will require the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
ESSENTIAL
- Strong business analysis skills, with sound written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a broad range of stakeholders;
- Demonstrated experience in developing reports and universes using SAP BI 4.3;
- Demonstrated experience in developing dashboards using Tableau (current version ;
- Proven ability to identify, analyse, present, and reconcile information from multiple systems;
- Excellent knowledge of administering SAP BI 4.3 and Tableau application servers, including the management of security groups and the promotion of objects across environments;
- Demonstrated ability to document report and dashboard requirements clearly and accurately;
- Demonstrated ability to produce work instructions for application server maintenance tasks;
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver outcomes within defined timeframes; and
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
DESIRABLE
- Tertiary qualifications or other relevant qualifications in Information Technology.
OTHER
- A valid Australian drivers license
- Valid Australian working rights
