Disability Support Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Disability Support Workers to provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling clients to live as independently as possible, while also maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to client care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support and care to clients with diverse needs and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of client care plans, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients, including adherence to manual handling procedures and infection control practices.
Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including manual handling tasks.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain relevant certifications, such as Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, and National Criminal History Check.
