Site Security Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking experienced security professionals to join our team as Site Security Maintenance Assistants.
The ideal candidates will possess a Queensland Security License (Class 1) and some general maintenance experience.
This is a casual hourly pay rate with superannuation.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the City Administration Centre remains secure
- Maintain the buildings and their surroundings
- Address all security matters associated with the buildings
- Support logistics for various civic functions
- Monitor public areas to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
- Comply with all workplace health and safety regulations and procedures
- A current C class driver's license
- A current First Aid certificate
- Experience in basic building maintenance
- A QLD security license (Class 1)
- A Blue card or be willing to obtain one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment
- Prior experience in the security industry
- Effective communication skills with staff and the public
- Basic computer literacy
- Physical capability to perform maintenance work and manual handling activities
- Accuracy in record keeping
