About The Role- Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain outdoor spaces through mowing, pruning, planting, and pest control, creating a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
- Carry out general repairs and upkeep across the site, including accommodation, pool areas, and equipment, focusing on quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets to deliver high standards within financial guidelines.
- Conduct regular WHS checks, follow safety protocols, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with team members, respond to resident queries, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
- A current manual driver's licence.
- Hands-on experience in building and grounds maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies.
- Proactive, positive, and committed to delivering high levels of service with clear communication and a team-first attitude.
- Comfortable with manual tasks like lifting, bending, and operating tools and equipment across varied terrain and conditions.
- Understanding of the importance of PPE and safe handling of chemicals, tools, and machinery to maintain a secure work environment.
