Job Overview

The Gatehouse Security Officer is a vital position that plays a key role in ensuring uninterrupted service delivery and upholding operational security standards.

  • Manage site access control, vehicle movement, and visitor passes to ensure secure entry.
  • Perform administrative duties including email management, reporting, and record maintenance.
  • Verify security clearance for personnel issued with access cards and monitor WHS compliance.
  • Identify and report security risks to the relevant authorities.
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance and respond promptly to site alarms.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar gatehouse or security role.
  • Valid VIC Security Licence.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Applicable Drivers Licence.
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.
