MSS Security is seeking a Security Site Supervisor to lead a team of eight security officers at a prestigious university campus in Melbourne's north-east. As the on-site leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of campus security during your shift, ensuring the safety and protection of students, staff, visitors, and facilities. This is a high-profile role within a professional environment that values leadership, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Oversee daily operations of security across the university campus.

Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to security officers during shifts.

Assist the Contract Manager with administrative and operational tasks as required.

Supervise control room activities, ensuring effective monitoring of CCTV, access control, alarms, and campus communications.

Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.

Ensure compliance with university policies, procedures, and security protocols.

Liaise with university staff, emergency services, and stakeholders as needed.

Maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and shift activities.

Support training and performance of new and existing security staff.

Requirements:

Prior supervisory experience within the security industry.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Sound knowledge of control room operations and emergency response.

Full Australian working rights.

Valid Victorian Security licence with the control room subcategory.

Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).

Valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.

Working with children check (or willing to obtain).

First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
