Desktop EUC Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Desktop EUC Technician to fill this critical role.

  • This Desktop EUC Technician position requires effective management of desktop devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • The successful candidate will provide top-notch technical support and maintenance services for desktop devices, ensuring seamless operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage desktop device incidents from start to finish.
  • Deliver high-quality IMAC and desk-side support services.
  • Resolve hard and soft break-fix services for laptops and desktops efficiently.
  • Analyze Service Desk calls for desktop devices and identify opportunities for user training and automation.
  • Ensure each desktop device is properly configured with the correct desktop image.
  • Maintain security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices, taking prompt action in case of non-compliance with security requirements.
  • Provide VIP support for desk-side issues and serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues at client sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with Windows 7 OS.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and smart hands and feet support desirable.
  • Experience supporting MAC devices and tablets desirable.
  • Proficiency in service management tools, such as ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • Awareness of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and related activities like spare and buffer stock management.
  • Degree in electronics or a related field (Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred).
