Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support group, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate assistance to end-users within the organization's desktop computing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems
  • Provide on-call support for critical issues and ensure minimal disruption to business operations
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed through ticketing systems
  • Stay up-to-date with Windows releases, updates, and application information
  • Support web applications and cloud applications, including Edge or Chrome

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in level 2/3 desktop support
  • Windows 10 or 11 admin troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell scripting
  • Familiarity with AppV applications, Microsoft Store Apps, and packaged applications

Desirable Qualifications:

  • PC/Laptop OEM maintenance certification
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area
