Indigenous Affairs Strategist

The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Indigenous Affairs Advisor to join our team in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will support the development of State-Based Social Inclusion Strategies and work with stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities for social benefit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing inclusive employment programs
- Working with local workforce inclusion providers and community stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for social benefit suppliers during the tender phase
- Establishing targets and reporting requirements for relevant tenders
- Supporting the delivery and implementation of Laing O'Rourke's Reconciliation Action Plan
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in developing and delivering inclusive employment programs
- Strong understanding of current Government policy and requirements specific to Social Procurement and Workforce Inclusion
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions
