We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our external relations efforts, working closely with our Chief of Professional Standards, Policy and External Affairs (PSEA). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selecting, supporting, and promoting key spokespersons representing us in media interviews, public speaking engagements, and other external forums.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in external relations, public affairs, media relations, and/or government affairs, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful external relations strategies. You will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across the business to co-develop an integrated campaign approach to Tier 1 events.

About the Role
  • Develop and execute comprehensive external affairs strategies that support our organisation's strategic priorities
  • Select, support, and promote key spokespersons representing us in media interviews, public speaking engagements, and other external forums
  • Work closely with our Chief of Professional Standards, Policy and External Affairs (PSEA) to achieve our external relations goals
  • Manage relationships with media outlets, government agencies, and community organisations

Our estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
